CHANNEL ZERO: CANDLE COVE’s Puppet Masks Really Freak Us Out (Exclusive Clip)

A quiet house at night. Creepy kids hiding in the shadows. Freaky puppet masks. Those are some top notch ingredients for cooking up a truly scary scene, and that’s why this sneak peek at tonight’s fourth episode of the Syfy network’s horror anthology series, Channel Zero: Candle Cove, looks to be putting together something pretty terrifying. Especially because they are mixing everything together with a knife.

In this exclusive clip from tonight’s episode “A Strange Vessel,” Jessica (played by Natalie Brown), returns to what she thinks is her empty home after a long, strange day. Unfortunately for her, it turns out she isn’t nearly as alone as she thought.

The puppet masks on the show within the show have always been unsettling, but these papier mâché versions are the worst ones yet, especially because they’re being worn by children. If you’ve been watching the show so far (if not, this is only episode four of six, so you can catch up quickly), knowing what those kids have been up to with those knives makes this whole encounter much more frightening, and potentially very dangerous.

Make sure to come back here tonight at episode’s end for our full recap of what I can tell you is easily the best episode of the series yet. The phrase “totally bonkers” comes to mind. Which shouldn’t be that surprising since you now know it involves kids in masks holding knives in a stranger’s house.
