Celebrate the Holidays with Marvel Themed Fan Art

Now that we’re in the thick of December, it also means we’re currently neck deep in the holiday season. However, believe it or not, we’re not the only ones who celebrate the end-of-year festivities. See, as it turns out, the good heroes of the Marvel Universe also enjoy gathering around the fire, opening presents, and reminiscing about days gone by, and that’s what makes today’s gallery so special.

Because we know you love heroes, holidays and fan art, we took to DeviantArt to find a bunch of holiday themed Marvel fan-art for you to take a peek at. Check it out:

You know, it’s really hard to pick a favorite here.

Perhaps there are some of you that go for the Baby Groot tree, especially given the character’s recent bout with mainstream success. Then, on the other hand, maybe some of you Spidey fans went nuts for the black-and-white image of the webslinger opening presents with one of his favorite frenemies. Then again, how could we not discuss Coulson under the mistletoe, waiting for a special gift from his favorite superhero, Captain America – some signed trading cards perhaps?

But, regardless of your favorite image, how about we all just agree Marvel characters can be made to look absolutely adorable when drawn for festive occasions… or any occasion for that matter. Does that sound like a holiday compromise we all can agree on? Cool.

But let’s ask anyway: which of the Marvel themed, holiday fan-arts is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.
