We may have only recently received the first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy, but one thing is apparent: Rocket Raccoon is going to be huge. Despite his small stature, the furry alien is making a splash. Toys featuring the character are going to fly off shelves, and this ARTFX+ statue from Kotobukiya is no exception. The 1/10 scale collectible features Rocket Raccoon and Groot and may be the first high-end collectible for either of the Guardians.

The sculpture by Junnosuke Abe is highly detailed – from Rocket Raccoon’s giant gun to his fur to the moss growing on Groot. Even though toys depicting Rocket Raccoon as more cuddly and friendly might do better, this sculpture shows him snarling with his teeth bared. It’s true to the character, and I like that touch.

You’ll be able to purchase the Rocket Raccoon and Groot ARTFX+ statue in September, one month after Guardians of the Galaxy opens in theaters. The price hasn’t been announced, but other statues in the ARTFX+ line start at around $44.
