If you’ve ever tried to get the Master Prestige rank in Call of Duty: WWII, then you know that it can be a punishing grind. It takes an extremely skilled and patient player to make it through all of those multiplayer matches with their sanity intact. Now, try to imagine doing that without using any bullets at all. One gamer known as TheseKnivesOnly has not only made Master Rank, he didn’t even fire a gun along the way. And in the following video, he demonstrates some astonishing skills with his throwing knives.
Via Kotaku, TheseKnivesOnly is a member of the professional gaming organization KARNAGE clan, and he’s been mastering his virtual knife skills since the original Call of Duty: Black Ops was released in 2010. That’s nearly eight years at this point, but his dedication to his craft has made him the first and perhaps only player to reach Master Prestige without getting a single lethal scorestreak or using a non-melee weapon. He was also meticulous about recording his achievement, which led to a fun acknowledgement from the game’s developer, Sledgehammer Games.

TheseKnivesOnly’s YouTube channel has dozens of additional Call of Duty themed videos that chronicle the weapons that he has used, as well as some funny and crazy in-game moments that he’s experienced along the way. They’re worth checking out, especially if you want to work on your own in-game knife skills.
