Buzz Aldrin Shared Shocking “Moon Scoops” with Stephen Colbert

“There were actually four people in the Apollo 11 spacecraft, but we got hungry.”

That was just one of the many shocking “Moon Scoops” dished out by famed astronaut and second man to ever walk on the moon, Buzz Aldrin, who was a guest last night on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

After awkwardly establishing that the lunar landings were indeed real, Aldrin let Colbert know that there were plenty of other secrets pertaining to that historic mission in 1969. So while Neil Armstrong may be able to lay claim to being the first man to walk on the moon, it’s old Buzz that claims a much more important superlative.

This segment also showed why we need to listen to our experienced experts, because I never would have considered the ever present danger of werewolves on the moon.

Aldrin actually came on to promote his new book, No Dream is Too High: Life Lessons From a Man Who Walked on the Moon. If it is full of more juicy “Moon Scoops” like this it’ll be a best seller.

While we try to figure out how to get that light up shirt Aldrin was wearing during the segment, land in our comments section below with the question you’d ask Buzz Aldrin if you had the chance.
