Build-A-Bear Will Let You Build A Pikachu in 2016

We want to build.. the very best, than no one ever built!

In early 2016, Pokémon fans can finally build their own Pikachu and become the Pokémon masters they know they are. Thanks to a deal between The Pokémon Company and Build-A-Bear Workshop, The Pokémon mascot will be available as a customizable stuffed animal, and will include a limited edition Pokémon card. The deal will also include an exclusive Pokéball hoodie and Charizard costume that patrons can purchase for their their Pikachus or other stuffed animals. It’s surprising they wouldn’t include a red and white hat for the plush to wear as well, but hey, we’re not too upset about this whole thing.

For the any Pokémon fans who are not interested in going into the store and building their own Pikachu, there is the option to order one, pre-stuffed, from Build-A-Bear’s website. While there is no official release date announced yet for the Build-A-Pikachu, we i magine it will be at some point in February to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original Pokémon games releasing in Japan.

Are you planning on picking up a stuffed Pikachu? Will you wait in line? Let us know all about it in the comments below!

If you are a big Pokémon fan, maybe you’d enjoy Yo-Kai Watch.
