Is there anything that canât be improved by added Bruce Campbell to the mix? The answer, of course, is a resounding âNo!â
Earlier this month, Campbell made an appearance on Chicago’s Fox affiliate, Channel 32âs Good Day Chicago to promote the long running Wizard World Chicago Comic Con. But itâs simply a waste of Campbellâs talents to put him on live TV and not utilize him! And soon enough, Campbell joined meteorologist Mark Strehl for an impromptu weather report.
Not even the Groovy One can master every skill instantly, and Campbell did appear to have a hard time figuring out where to point and where to stand. And yet it still looks like he was having a great time.
When Channel 32 traffic reporter Jenny Milkowski asked how she could possibly follow Campbellâs appearance, he simply joined her for the traffic report as well! And this time, Milkowski let Campbell play around with the handheld device that controlled the traffic imagery behind them.
Campbell is a regular guest on the Wizard World Comic Con circuit and several other conventions. Heâs also the host of CONtvâs Last Fan Standing, which is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to fund a second season. And thereâs still a long way to go before Campbell and CONtv reach their fundraising goal!
Among genre fans, Campbell is best known for his roles in The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., Burn Notice, and The Evil Dead trilogy. This fall, Campbell is reprising his role as Ash Williams on Starzâ original series, Ash vs. Evil Dead. That series will premiere on Saturday, October 31st.
