Finally! You can enjoy pizza in the bedroom without worrying about getting grease on your sheets. What? Who hasn’t had that concern? There’s a glorious Kickstarter campaign that solves all your problems. Claire Manganiello has designed a beautiful bedding set that looks like an extra large slice of pepperoni and cheese pizza. I’m drooling. Here’s how the bed works:

You’ve got sheets (flat and fitted) that are printed to look like pizza sauce, a duvet cover that resembles greasy cheese and pepperoni, and two crusty pillow covers. The pictures on the screen look hyperrealistic, and I have to believe that getting cozy between layers of pizza means you would have the best possible dreams. The bedding sets will be available for all bed sizes from twin to king, and the packaging – appropriately enough – is a custom pizza box.

The Kickstarter campaign for the pizza bed has almost three weeks left, and they’re asking for $125,848. The cost is high to cover initial production cost. Manganiello estimates the first run of bedding and packaging to cost $105,000. The rest of the funds cover storage, shipping, and Kickstarter/Amazon fees. If it’s successful, I hope they eventually make additional toppings in the form of throw pillows and that you can customize your entire pizza bed order.

You can back the project at reward levels ranging from $1 to $10,000. Rewards include handwritten thank you notes, pizza-themed temporary tattoos, and pizza prints. You start getting the actual pepperoni and cheese duvet cover and crust pillows at $75 and above.
