I was hyp-mo-tized this entire episode!

The theme song to Enterprise, according to the world’s lightest encyclopedia — Wikipedia — has this to say:

The series’ theme song, “Where My Heart Will Take Me”, written by Diane Warren and sung by Russell Watson, was a marked contrast to the sweeping instrumental themes used in all other Star Trek series. It was also the first theme song in Star Trek history not originally written for the show it was used; it was originally the theme song to the movie Patch Adams (where it was sung by Rod Stewart and originally entitled “Faith of the Heart”).
