At this point, does a new Captain American: The Winter Solder clip really need an introduction?:
While itâs a small taste, itâs a small taste of two of actingâs finest going toe-to-toe in a scene together, and I could listen to Robert Redford say the words âIron Manâ all day. Seriously, itâs playing on a loop right now as I write.
In addition to the clip, Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige has offered up a brand new update regarding the possibility of a Black Widow solo flick via ComingSoon.net:
“I think the idea would be great,” he says. “We’ve got various outlines and ideas of where to take that. As Scarlett already said, there’s a big element that explores her back story in an upcoming Marvel feature. The question really is, ‘When will we take her out of the ensemble and have her do her own thing?’ As you saw in [Captain America: The Winter Soldier], as you’ll see in Avengers: Age of Ultron, she’s really the key to so much of the plot development.”
So there you have it: a Widow flick is indeed in active development, and we got some more good news for you, as Sony has released two brand new clips from The Amazing Spider-Man 2:
While what Gwen is running from isnât clear, Peterâs circus act take-down is actually kind of hilarious, as is his Charlie Chaplinesque skip at the end.
This is the first clip of any kind weâve gotten in relation to character development from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and it really is nice to know weâre going to get to watch Peter struggle with the dilemma of his parents this time around.
Captain America: The Winter Solder will hit theaters on April 4th.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will arrive in theaters on May 2nd.
