BOOM! Humble Comics Bundle Offers ROBOCOP, PLANET OF THE APES, Benefits Charity

So there’s a whole mess of comics in the new BOOM! Studios Humble Bundle that launched yesterday. Maybe too many comics. I mean, can that be a bad thing – to get a bunch of stuff you like on the cheap or free? And it’s for charity!

In a press release, the publisher announced the two-week bundle including a bunch of digital collections amassed from their recent output. It’s a mix of original titles like The Woods and Lumberjanes as well as licensed books based on properties like RoboCop (including a Frank Miller joint featuring the ’87 original as well as a mini based on this year’s reboot), Planet of the Apes, and Bravest Warriors.

The sales will benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, the non-profit established to protect comic creators’ First Amendment rights. Don’t think they’re important? Comics are still being restricted or outright banned, and it’s organizations like the CBLDF which help fight the laws keeping these works from being seen.

Here’s the full list of titles in the base bundle, followed by all of the other books you can get for kicking in a little extra. Head over to the Humble Bundle page for more details or to just go ahead and spend your money already.
