Is it acceptable for an entire office to collectively squeal in delight? Who cares! Bob Odenkirk and David Cross are teaming up again for a sketch comedy show on Netflix!
The show, With Bob and David, will be four episodes of comedy goodness plus an hour long making-of special. As Cross and Odenkirk describe it, after being dishonorably discharged from the Navy SEAL, Bob and David are back serving our country the way they do best: making sketch comedy.
Die hard fans will be keen to point out that this news was teased at back in December in a tweet by comedian and Mr. Show cast member Paul F. Tompkins.

We’re beyond excited about all this and can’t help but think of all the great things the pair have brought us in the past. We are certainly enjoying speculating about all the possible guest stars that could appear in the new Netflix series. Mr. Show was made up of a cavalcade of actors and comedians, and is where a lot got of them got their start.
There’s no way we could complete an entire list of everyone who appeared and contributed to the HBO series but just imagine how awesome the Netflix incarnation will be now that most have made names for themselves. We’ve got our fingers crossed we see some cameos from the likes of Sarah Silverman, Jack Black, Scott Adsit, Brian Posehn, Tom Kenny, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Theresa Mulligan, Dino Stamatopoulos, Karen Kilgariff, and Scott Aukerman (or at least his taint).
With Bob and David is currently in production so it’ll be a while until we get to see it. Until then we’ve got our Mr. Show DVDs to keep us company and for those of you who don’t, let us refresh your memory with one of the best sketches Bob and David ever:
