Serve Up Blue Milk in New STAR WARS Dishware

With Star Wars: The Force Awakens set to hit theaters in just 3.5 months and the big Force Friday retail event happening this week, Star Wars fans can barely contain themselves with the excitement of new Star Wars products.

When you spot never-before-seen Star Wars products out in the wild, it’s like Christmas… but with more droids. I happened to be shopping at local California Japanese supermarket Marukai, when I felt a tremor in the Force. The last time I felt it was…when I saw the trailer. I turned around to see the face of Kylo Ren staring back at me in the form of dishware. This will indeed be a day long remembered.

I found melamine dishes featuring Darth Vader, C-3P0, R2-D2, a stormtrooper and the newest member of the Star Wars universe, Kylo Ren. The dishes also had matching insulated tumblers that were ridiculously adorable.

In addition to the dishware, I saw an abundance of Star Wars: The Force Awakens products featuring even more new characters like Finn, Rey, Captain Phasma and the soon to be favorite, BB-8. Available in a melamine bowl, plastic Mason Jar and tumbler, these products are geared towards young kids and seem to be extremely durable. The stand outs from this collection were the Captain Phasma water bottle and BB-8 drinking cup. Both bore beautiful designs and made me wish it was December already.

All these items were Zak! branded, a company known for its fun, licensed dishware for kids. The Zak! website carries a few of these items which leads me to believe that they will eventually be available in the U.S. However Japanese markets are known for carrying Japan exclusives, so time will tell. Either way, it’s worth a trip to your local Japanese market to see them for yourself. Star Wars fans won’t be disappointed.

Which of these characters would best suit your eating habits? Let us know in the comments, and check out all the products in the gallery below.
