Blizzard Considering Giving WORLD OF WARCRAFT to WARCRAFT Movie-Goers

Movie-goers who support the upcoming Warcraft film may be getting a nice little surprise.

An email sent out by Blizzard has revealed that they may be considering a bundle dubbed, World of Warcraft: Ultimate Movie Edition, for Warcraft movie-goers. If they choose to go this route, those who purchase a movie ticket for Warcraft will get the MMO phenomenon World of Warcaft and all of its expansions (prior to Legion) completely free of charge. You’ll also get a month of free play time and an in-game special item. Check out the message right here, and keep in mind that Blizzard has acknowledged the typo included in the email, so it’s legit.

This is certainly a nice incentive to get more people to go watch the movie once it makes its debut. Though, this is probably targeted more towards those that aren’t already playing the MMO, since fans of the franchise will probably already own the game along with its expansions. It’s actually a brilliant move on Blizzard’s part. The best case scenario is that a non-WoW fans enjoys the movie enough to want to give the game a try and hopefully those people become long time subscribers. A+ to the marketing team.

You can catch the flick in theaters on June 10. World of Warcraft: Legion is set to release later this year.

Would you be more interested in watching this film on the big screen barring this offer actually exists? Are you going to watch the movie either way? Let us know in the comments below!
