Given the state of the fictional movie-verse that is the MCU, it’s very unlikely that we’ll see Elektra and Black Widow face off any time soon. Élodie Yung has memorably brought Elektra to life on Daredevil and The Defenders, while Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow has already appeared in numerous MCU films. They share the same corner of the multiverse, so we still hope against hope to see Yung and Johansson square off in-character. <sigh> The next best thing? Their stunt doubles already got down to business.

Via The Daily Dot, Elektra stunt double Lauren Mary Kim has posted a new video in which she has a dynamic battle with Amy Johnston, who was one of the Black Widow stunt doubles on The Avengers. Let’s just say that both women were ready for a knife fight, and this would have been an action sequence worthy of anything currently on screens silver or otherwise.

This very impressive sequence was choreographed by Tsuyoshi Abe, and Bryan Sloyer served as the fight coordinator, cameraman and editor. Kim’s YouTube channel also has a few additional videos that explore her career as a stunt woman and show off what she can do. Aside from the video above, we were dazzled by Kim’s Daredevil season 2 stunt reel, which showed off her most memorable moments from that series. After watching her pull off those moves, we wouldn’t doubt her if she claimed to actually have super powers.
