ASSASSIN’S CREED Gameplay Trailer Utilizes Slow Motion Well

If there was ever a need to reinforce the validity of the statement “everything looks better in slow motion,” the new Assassin’s Creed: Unity trailer is leagues ahead in being a sufficient example. The bit features some flashy Assassin’s Creed: Unity co-op gameplay, all happening to the sounds of the groovy Seinabo Sey track “Pistols At Dawn.” Turn your speakers up for this one, deans and queens:

As per usual with Assassin’s Creed: Unity, the cooperative element is the focal point, and seemingly will play an important role in the game’s narrative. I had a chance to play through a two player stealth mission at PAX a couple of weeks ago, and so far everything has looked rather promising in regards to how well co-op works with the Assassin’s Creed series. This may be the break in monotony that the series needs–not to take anything away from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, which was a solid game in it’s own right.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity is set to hit stores on November 11 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Players on the PS3 and Xbox 360 can look forward to Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, which also releases on the same day but will be a completely different installment as opposed to a port of Unity.
