BLACK PANTHER Adds Sterling K. Brown to the Cast

Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther film keeps shaping up into one of the most exciting new properties in the MCU, and today we have news that cranks our desire to see this feature film to 11.

Today, Marvel announced that Sterling K. Brown has just joined up as N’Jobu, a figure from T’Challa’s (a.k.a. Black Panther) past. Any guesses as to how this figures in? We can’t wait to make the conspiracy yarn wall of how he connects into this world.

Brown recently won an Emmy Award and is Golden Globe-nominated for his stellar portrayal of Christopher Darden in The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. The veteran stage and screen actor also garnered Screen Actors Guild and NAACP Image award nominations for the role, as well as for the critically acclaimed TV show This Is Us.

The casting for this film is just getting bonkers. Currently, the released cast list includes Chadwick Boseman in the title role alongside Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba. All of this will be overseen by Creed director Ryan Coogler.

The film arrives in theaters on February 16, 2018. Is it already marked in your calendars? Good.

So what do you guys think? Is this cast list as impressive to you as it is to us? Who do you think Sterling K. Brown is playing in this film and will we be seeing him in other Marvel Cinematic Universe properties? Is N’Jobu a bad guy? Is there anything else in the MCU as exciting to you as this movie? Sound off in the comments to let us know.
