thinking of the ring .. its weird that movie is only PG13 .. gotta be top of my list for movies that freaked me.

  2. Jesse says:

Heh maybe death was telling her she would live for as long as she wants.

  3. Michael says:

I actually live in Staten Island, New York.

The story you talk about with the mental asylums being shut down in the United States, the one which had the huge amounts of abuse was called “Willowbrook” which is now the College of Staten Island.

I go there for college. They converted the entire complex into classrooms. It used to house the insane and the sick but it is all just classrooms now.

There is however one part of the complex which is very old and destroyed, it looks like a portion that was untouched after the facility was converted.

There apparently is an underground tunnel system which connects the entire college and it was used by the asylum to transfer the bodies of patients. (That is at least what I was told, could be bullshit)

Awesome to hear that the show is going weekly next year! Wooo!
Great spooky stories this time, and awesome guests. I wonder if Kate ever researched her home to find out if anyone died there. I mean, ghostly stuff going on AND people phoning 911? You’d figure that someone got killed there or something – but maybe it’s just easier to not know that stuff.
Very funny opening too, with the semen smell and ham smell stories 😀
Love this ‘cast and I’m looking forward to weekly eps!

  5. Tracy says:

I had a sleep paralysis/nightmare where a shadow/man (could not see his features at all) was lying on top of me and I couldn’t move.  It was very real and scary.  I’m still not sure after all these years if I was actually asleep…

I’m from Maryland as well and I swear to god I’ve seen what Bowser was talking about.  My wife and I were driving at night and there was a car pulled over to the side of the road with a man standing next to the driver side door.  I swear when we drove by him, it was fucking zombie.  I don’t know how else to describe how he looked.  I may have only got a 2 second look at him, but I turned to my wife to ask her if she saw it and before I could get it out she was like, “What the fuck was that.”Twas the creeps man.

You’re gonna be a weekly podcast!? THANK YOU SO MUCH!  😀

  8. Chelsea says:

I did not realize that the seeing a dead relative right after they die (in a dream) was a thing. I remember seeing my grandfather in a dream (so real that I wasn’t sure if it was one) looking at me, putting his arms on my shoulders and saying, “I’m okay, I’m okay” And standing next to him was my great uncle who had died twenty years before. What was weird was my mom had dreamed about my grandfather (her dad) that same night. Different situation but he said the same thing to her “I’m okay, I’m okay”

  9. Sarah S says:

I watch The Exorcist when I was 12 and even that was too soon. My friend and I were under a blanket for most of the second half of the movie, and I still had images in my mind by the end that I couldn’t get out of my head… I was terrified.

  10. Zach says:

Speaking of machines reacting to you passing them, I occasionally  have street lamps turn off when i drive or walk past them. This is after seeing several other people pass by them first, with nothing happening.
