Billy Eichner (Billy on the Street) and Julie Klausner (host of How Was Your Week and a writer on Billy’s show) are great at riffing on pop culture. In a new project, they plan to do just that. Difficult People, a pilot presentation ordered by USA Network, will feature the pair as “frustrated comedians and pop culture-loving best friends living in New York City who hate everyone — except each other.” That’s not a stretch for either of them.

Amy Poehler is serving as an executive producer on the show; With the successes of Parks and Recreation, Broad City, and Welcome to Sweden under her belt, Poehler has been on a winning streak the past couple of years.
