Los Angeles has been taken. Families have been separated, splintered by a giant wall dividing the city. Curfews are in place, masked guards patrol the streets, and drones scour the skies, searching for any resistance against the mysterious tyrants who occupy the City of Angels. And in Colony, the latest science fiction series from Lost creator Carlton Cuse, everyone must choose a side. Do you resist the occupation and face capture or worse? Do you join the other side, hoping to maintain some semblance of your former life? Or do you silently go along with it until it’s the right moment to strike?
All these questions and more are addressed in USA’s latest foyer into sci-fi, Colony, which stars Josh Holloway (Lost), Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead), Peter Jacobson (House M.D.), Amanda Righetti (The Mentalist), and Tory Kittles (True Detective, Sons of Anarchy). Just like they did with their smash hit series Mr. Robot, USA has released the first episode of Colony on their website to view before the series premiere. And tonight, series co-creator Ryan Condal and the cast will be joining our own Jessica Chobot and Dan Casey to preview season one, discuss the themes and mythology behind the series, and answer fan questions — live from Nerdist HQ!
