Benedict Cumberbatch Invites You to Tea—and The INFINITY WAR Premiere

Scrolling through my emails I stopped at one from non-other than Benedict Cumberbatch. A million thoughts raced through my head: what does he want, how did he get my email—wait does he want to hang out? Turns out he does, just not in the way one might think. Omaze, the online fundraising platform grabs your attention with these emails and then reels in your heart with their causes.

Cumberbatch is encouraging fans to open their wallets and their hearts to donate to charity. Each Omaze donation is an entry to win the Infinity Gauntlet of prizes—spending real quality time with Benedict Cumberbatch while drinking tea and taking selfies. It seems like the perfect time to ask him about his resemblance to otters or tell him you have dreams about an edible chocolate version of himself. Those are just my ideas, if you win you can ask him anything you want.

Besides special Cumber-time you’ll also be the lucky recipient of two tickets to attend the Avengers: Infinity War premiere, and you won’t even need a Sling Ring to get there—airfare and hotel is provided as well.

The prize is secondary because every donation supports GEANCO, an organization that works to save and transform lives of the poor and vulnerable in Africa. Donations will help provide life-changing scholarships to young female victims of terrorism and gender inequality, orthopedic surgeries to those in desperate need, and maternal and infant health programs.
