If you film it, they will come. If you upload it to YouTube, they will comment “First!” If you smelt it, you dealt it. Okay, so two out of three ain’t bad, but the point is that today we’re excited to unveil our complete fall programming slate, and it is packed to the gills with all manner of killer content. As the summer comes to an end, we’ve got you covered with a wide variety of brand new and familiar programming to keep you warm well into the fall.

Yesterday saw the premiere of Liam Lynch’s The Adventures of The Sweet Electric, which follows the intergalactic trials, travails, and non-stop touring of the universe’s premiere futuristic robot band, the titular The Sweet Electric. The series plays out like a combination of The Young Ones, The Mighty Boosh, and Red Dwarf, all knit together by Lynch’s unique comedic sensibilities. Was your biggest complaint about Velvet Goldmine that it didn’t have a laugh track? Well, look no further this fall than The Adventures of The Sweet Electric.

Sure The Sweet Electric’s dead-eyed plastic faces can be off-putting, but if you want something truly horrific, look no further than The Real Housewives of Horror, which is exactly what it sounds like – Kevin Pereira (G4’s Attack of the Show) and Brea Grant’s (Heroes, Dexter) pitch perfect parody of those Real Housewives shows, but with the assumption that all the Housewives are married to famous movie monsters, serial killers, and all manner of spooky, scary creatures. They’re at least as frightening as the actual Housewives, if not ten to seventy-five percent scarier.

If you consider yourself a true horrorhound, you definitely won’t want to miss Scott Ian’s Bloodworks, an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the best, brightest, and bloodiest special effects and makeup houses in the business hosted by musician Scott Ian of Anthrax. Ever wonder how the zombies on The Walking Dead look so good when Michonne is beheading them with her katana? You’ll find out that and much, much more on Scott Ian’s Bloodworks. Just be sure to bring a poncho because you are likely sitting in the splash zone.

You may have survived the onslaught of San Diego Comic-Con, PAX Prime, Dragon Con, Anime Expo, and all manner of other fan conventions this summer, but that doesn’t mean the cosplay stops there. This fall, we’re rolling out not one, but two new cosplay-centric shows just for you: the docu-series Just Cosplay on September 5, and the Mad Libs-on-meth madnesss of Origin Story, which premieres on October 24. Just Cosplay will take viewers behind the scenes with some of their favorite cosplayers and show them how they manage to take a costume from concept to completion, hot glue and all! On the other end of the spectrum, Origin Story follows Andrew Bowser (Monster Machine,  bringing an original character to life over the course of a single weekend based on the suggestions of you, the con-goer! 

But wait, there’s more! You know how podcasts have previously been ruled by the tyranny of ears? Well, now you can get your eyes in on the action too because we’re going to be rolling out a series of video podcasts of some of our most popular programs on the Nerdist Network! Soon, you’ll be able to take a sneak peek behind the recording process of shows like The Nerdist Podcast, You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes, The K-Ohle, Jonah Raydio, and more! That’s right, at long last you’ll be able to confirm your suspicions that Chris, Matt, and Jonah do all of their recordings wearing matching burrito onesies.

As if that weren’t enough, this fall will also see the premiere of Nerdist Presents, a bi-monthly series of one-off sketches, videos, parodies, and bits of off-kilter hilarity that will tackle everything from Doctor Who to The Walking Dead to Game of Thrones to why there’s never any damn toner in the copier. C’mon, people, I’ve sent like thirteen memos about this already. How hard is it to remember? Anyway, like I was saying, look for Nerdist Presents on September 10. And if you consider yourself a true fan of comedy, you’ll be pleased to learn that we’re also continuing our partnership with the UCB (Upright Citizens Brigade) in which we examine the lighter side of everything from video games (Controller Freaks) to what happens during your favorite movies when the camera isn’t rolling (Between the Scenes).

Last, but not least, Nerdist News with Jessica Chobot is still leading the charge every Monday through Friday with your daily fix of all things pop culture. On Tuesdays, Malik Forte is entering the Konami code to our hearts with Nerdist Play, where he breaks down the burning issues facing the world of gaming (and rocks a mean Luigi Death Stare, to boot). On Wednesdays, you’re cordially invited to go spelunking into the depths of The Dan Cave with me where we’ll talk about cinema, prestige television, comic books, and probably definitely maybe Vin Diesel. Joining this sincerely radical lineup later this month is Because Science with Kyle Hill, a probing look into the secret science behind the fandoms you know and love. It’ll definitely light a fire under your Bunsen burner – and that’s up to you whether or not that’s a euphemism. And for you music fans out there, turn up the bass and wait for the drop because our music editor Matt Grosinger is cooking up a seriously kickass weekly music program and some other aural delights just for you.
