BATMAN: THE TELLTALE SERIES Season 2 Introduces the Riddler

Telltale Games dropped a bombshell announcement on the first day of Comic-Con, revealing sequels to three of their most popular games: Batman, The Walking Dead, and The Wolf Among Us.

First up is the Dark Knight himself. Season one saw players struggle to manage Bruce Wayne’s billionaire and vigilante personas and decide for themselves which was real and which was the mask. Season two will continue that trend, but with the added confusion of The Riddler. Edward Nygma seems like a perfect choice for a game devoted to player choice and puzzle solving. His mind games will surely make for some engaging gameplay and difficult choices. And we can’t forget about the fledgeling Joker, who will be returning to make Batman second guess his actions once again.

While Batman fights to save Gotham, Clementine fights for survival. The Walking Dead season four sees Clem still on the road, still making the hard calls that will keep her and those she cares about safe. The Walking Dead season one was the game that really made Telltale a top-tier developer, so the final season will be a culmination of everything they’ve achieved since 2012.

Finally, The Wolf Among Us is getting a second season! The first season was one of the best games of 2013, and fans have been clamoring for a sequel ever since. Vehemently, as is evidenced by the mean tweets read in the video below. Sheriff Bigby Wolf will once again join Snow White to protect the fables of the world. Other than that, all we know about the game is that it’s coming out in 2018.
