“The Dark Knight Who Says Ni” is the BATMAN/MONTY PYTHON Crossover We Need

We have a lot of fun every time Kevin Conroy, the voice of the Caped Crusader on Batman: The Animated Series, stops by our Alpha series Talkin’ Toons. On his first visit, we got him to do some Bat-ception by reading Christian Bale’s iconic hero speech from The Dark Knight. Next time around, we took him to the Dark Side by having him play another famous character clad in black, Darth Vader. But we saved our silliest request for last, asking the Dark Knight to play the leader of the Knights Who Say Ni from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Helping him recreate that classic moment was Batman: The Animated Series producer Alan Burnett as Sir Bedevere and the show’s writer Paul Dini as King Arthur.

Considering it would be hard to come up with a more ridiculous scene full of sillier dialogue than the Knights Who Say Ni, we have to ask this question: is there anything dumb enough we could ask Kevin Conroy to read that wouldn’t still sound menacing when filtered through his career-defining Bat-voice? We doubt it, but we really want to find out.

And if we do, you’ll hear about it at our online Alpha community, where you can find the rest of this and all others episodes of Talkin’ Toons. If you’re not already a member, your first 30 days are free when you sign up, and you’ll find tons of other great shows there too.

What absurd scene should we ask Kevin Conroy to read for us? Say “ni” and your best suggestion in the comments below.
