AMC’s The Walking Dead is a constantly tangled and decidedly messy look at life after the fall of human civilization (did you know that?!), and it’s also one of the most relentlessly dour programs on television. This is why any time some good comedic happenings can be associated with it, we eat it up like a freshly eviscerated small intestine. Today’s hilarity of the zombie nature comes from the folks at Bad Lip Reading, who have really outdone themselves yet again by traversing the landscape of undead turmoil to deliver a series of clips that, nonsensical as they are, still somehow manage to make sense. Weird.
Tyrese is very upset that Rick ate his apple, and no amount of explanation from him or Darryl can change that. And he ESPECIALLY doesn’t like it when you bring dolphins into the conversation needlessly. Rick is always making poor decisions. But, clearly, the best part of this video is Carl Poppa’s new hit single featuring the immortal lyric “La Jiggy Jar Jar Doo! Dur dur dur dee dur!” Of course, this is followed by a chorus of walkers. That song could be a hit this second. Enjoy the malarkey!
Now, that song is an unimpeachable delight, but how does it compare to Bad Lip Reading’s last Walking Dead jam, the Governor’s immortal Broadway classic “La-Bibbida-Bibba-Dum”? I guess I didn’t realize so much singing went on in the post-apocalyptic, stench-aired landscape.
Can’t wait to see what they do for their next installment, and what smash hit we’ll get at that point. Let us know in the comments if Carl Poppa or Broadway Governor is your favorite song.
This might be a really stupid question but I can’t figure it out — are some parts auto tuned audio clips of Riggs voice or not?
When will we see Chandler Riggs on Talking Dead, and will Chris PLEASE ask him what he thinks of Carl Poppa? Would love to see that reaction!
Pretty good production values RE: the song in BOTH videos.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE both songs
Cant get that song out of my head
Awesome, love those guys!
