Autobots Roll Out In New TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION TV Spots

With less than a month to go before the world gets a fresh taste of Michael Bay’s robot fighting franchise in Transformers: Age of Extinction, Paramount is hard at work with plenty of new material to hold you over until the release date. Recently, the studio put out a new trailer and viral ad for the film, and today we have three brand new television spots that feature a whole bunch of new footage for us to chew on:

First of all, big pile of YAY for the “Autobots, roll out!” line. It’s been too long.

As for the second spot, there are two shots in particular that really get us going. The first is the one that features the transformer that seems to be able to break down into tiny particles and float around. We saw something like that in the second movie with metal balls that formed a human sized bot, but this new one is way cooler. The other shot in question is of the humans standing in some conversation with the autobots. It’s not the first time a shot of its type has been done in the series, but that one just looks real good and really sells the scale of the autobots compared to humans.

As for the third spot, that one seems to be really selling us on the Bayness of the film: a lot of explosions, sweeping set pieces, and snappy dialogue. There’s no denying we know exactly what we’re getting in Age of Extinction with all these new spots, and we like what we see.

Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters June 27th.

  1. Is it just me, or am I seeing a rehashed scene? In the second trailer at the 10 second mark, does that not look a lot like the Optimus/Fallen fight scene in the pillars from Revenge of the Fallen?
