ATTACK ON TITAN Video Game Gets A Release Date for Console & PC

Prepare to take attack some Titan necks! Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have announced that Attack on Titan the video game is launching on August 30. Fans in Europe will be slashing into it four days prior to that. Physical copies will be released for the PS4 and Xbox One version, while the PS3, PS Vita, and PC are getting download-only versions.

Here in the states, the game will simply be titled Attack on Titan, unlike in Europe, where the game will have the subtitle “Wings of Freedom.” That seems to be the only difference, though. A new action trailer was also released, featuring our favorite heroes flying through the air like deadly sword-wielding ballerinas. Take a gander at the two minute clip above.

For those of you who don’t know, this title will be covering the series’ first season, hence all the story content present in the trailer. So, this could be a great starting point for those looking to join the AOT hype-train. The gameplay is also looking slick, so even those who already know what happens in the first chapter of the series will have a reason to check this out. I just hope that nothing was held back in the development process for the sake of getting the game to run on the PS3 and Vita.

With that being said, we wouldn’t mind a slick Vita version. Long live the handheld! Im not in denial guys, I swear.

Are you going to nab this game when it finally launches? Does it look promising? What do you think about the new images released? Let us know in the comments below!
