ASSASSIN’S CREED Movie Gets New Writers

Looks like Adam Cooper and Bill Collage are joining the brotherhood to help write the adaptation of Ubisoft’s hit video game, Assassin’s Creed.

Though their credits include the college comedy Accepted and New York Minute (yes, the one with the Olsen Twins), don’t let it fool you. They’ve worked with Darren Aronofsky and Ridley Scott on The General and Exodus, respectively, as well as Jerry Bruckheimer’s Shake and Luc Besson’s Transporter 4.

While Michael Fassbender is still slated to produce and star in the film, it’s unclear who will direct the video game adaptation. But with the Cooper/Collage combo on board, hopefully they can do justice to the Assassin’s Creed time-hopping story line.

Despite delays, Fox is currently sticking with their August 2015 release date for the film.
