In case you’ve been living under a bloody rock, Sam Raimi and our pal Bruce Campbell are bringing The Evil Dead back in a 10-episode limited series on Starz, titled Ash Vs. Evil Dead! On a recent conference call, Raimi and Campbell shared details on the new show, including a full plot synopsis AND character descriptions. Groovy.
The duo also confirmed (was there ever any doubt?) that the practical effects, iconic creature designs, dark humor, and unrelenting gore we know and love will be back in full force. Hail to the king, indeed.
