Artist Rendition of Iconic Film and TV Vehicles

You can tell a lot about a character in fiction by what he or she drives. Cars are as big a statement of what a person is or is trying to represent as a haircut or a pair of shoes. For instance, would Mad Max be nearly as awesome if he drove a Yugo? Or would Harry and Lloyd have been AS dumb if they’d tooled around in a Fiero instead of a dog van? (Probably.) Sometimes, in the best of cases, the cars become as iconic as the characters themselves, if not more so. We live in a car obsessed culture, and movies and TV have perpetuated that, but when cars are that awesome, we don’t mind being obsessed.

A French artist named Nicolas Bannister has taken his love of these cars and turned them into title-less movie posters for films and television shows, all centering on these autos, a quote from or representing a film, and one tiny character. Some of them are very iconic, and some of them are VERY obscure. Ones like The Flintstones and Bullitt are pretty easy, but there are others that even we here at Nerdist had some trouble. Let’s see if you can figure it out.

If anybody can tell me what the futuristic motorcycle or the green and white hearse are from, I’d be very grateful. I have no idea. Tweet me the answer if you please. For everybody else, see how many you can name. Share your guesses in the comments below.
