Artist Draws POKÉMON Wearing Adorable Pajamas of Their Evolved Forms

It’s often been theorized what it’s like inside a Pokéball for the Pokémon that call them home. We at least hope there’s a comfortable spot for them to sleep. The key to a good night’s sleep, though, is a comfortable set of pajamas. A onesie hits the spot if it’s available. Thanks to Canadian illustrator Randy Crisologo, better known online as Birdy, we can now envision what kind of nightwear our favorite Pokémon don when they’re dozing off in those tiny metal spheres. Birdy is always actively drawing something, and every now and then, he’ll post one of these illustrations. His latest line is Pokémon wearing PJs that look like their evolved forms, like this one of Squirtle wearing Blastoise pajamas:

At the top of this post is one of all the Grass-type starters, and below is a drawing of some Eevee evolutions:

His drawings come out spectacularly because he puts a ton of effort into them: His YouTube channel is filled with tutorials, including one on his Charmander drawing that runs for nearly an hour across two videos. Here’s a more digestible clip, showing the process behind the above Squirtle drawing:

Birdy doesn’t strictly do onesie drawings, though, or even strictly Pokémon drawings. Here’s one of a Gastly in a Gengar mecha suit:

Here’s Pikachu hanging out with Stitch from Lilo & Stitch, with both of them wearing PJs that look like each other:

And this is Kirby spending quality time with a Pikachu, who is wearing a Charizard onesie:

Birdy’s Instagram page is absolutely filled with impressive illustrations (so is this imgur gallery), and his YouTube page gives great insight to his artistic process, so check both out and let us know in the comments which of his amazing drawings is your favorite.
