ARROW’s Season Finale Is Going to Come With Some Flash

The Season 2 finale of Arrow airs tomorrow night. Photos from “Unthinkable” preview what is sure to be an action-packed episode with seemingly everyone who owns a mask showing up in Starling City. But, the episode offers more than an exciting battle between Arrow and company and Slade Wilson and his army: the finale will be followed by a teaser for The Flash.

The CW recently announced that they’d picked up The Flash as a series to air next year. Grant Gustin will star as Barry Allen, and he was also introduced in Arrow earlier this season. He’s plucky, intelligent, and altogether adorable. Based on what we’ve seen so far, Gustin is a great choice to bring the comic book character to life. We’ve even already witnessed the freak accident that brings about his superpowers, and as far as we know, Barry is currently in a coma in Central City.

That coma won’t last forever though. The CW added a bonus to a trailer for the Arrow finale. You can see Flash race by for a couple of seconds at the end of the promo:

Yes, it was a very brief teaser to the teaser that will air after “Unthinkable.” From the way the short peek was cut, it appears as though Oliver Queen will appear in The Flash. The shows happen in the same universe, so it’s fertile ground for crossovers. I’m okay with this.

Watch “Unthinkable” tomorrow, May 14th, at 8:00pm ET/PT on The CW. Are you excited about The Flash teaser? Let us know in the comments!
