This week marks the return of the Computex Expo in Taipei, Taiwan, one of the largest computer and technology trade shows in the world. The expo is a major event for the top PC and tech companies to show off their wares, both present and future, while also possibly striking up procurement deals with distributors, retailers, and even some government contracts.

The Verge is on site at the expo, and has recently reported on a most-interesting item spotted at the Thermaltake booth. A custom-built PC case that is built to resemble Thor’s hammer Mjolnir. The case was designed and built by a young Taiwanese man named Suchao Prowphong, who was living as a fisherman in his hometown before being approached by Themaltake about the PC case mod he built from scratch.

The case was built to celebrate the Thor and Avengers films and is a faithful recreation of the on-screen prop, lovingly referred to as Thermalthor. The case comes complete with flashing cerulean lights to recreate the lighting that always proceeds the God of Thunder, and the hammer can even be lifted off the base when the computer is turned off. If an oddly-named shade of blue doesn’t fit your style the case’s lights can change color, and the intensity of the flashing can be changed to make the case less distracting to those using it.

Sadly, PC builders will be hurt to know the case does not have room for a discrete graphics card, and instead must run on the integrated Intel graphics. Take a look at some of the pictures in the gallery below, or head over to The Verge to see the rest.
