Pardon my fangirling but: holy goodness me, do I ever love me some Paul Rudd. (Though, who doesn’t?) The future Mr. Ant-Man truly outdid his hilariously charming self on Tuesday during The Tonight Show‘s first-ever Lip Sync Battle. A staple from Jimmy Fallon’s days on Late Night, the duo got nitty and gritty with wonderful renditions of songs like Tina Turner’s “Better Be Good to Me” Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” (from Rudd) and Foreigner’s “Jukebox Hero” in the stylings of Fallon himself. And while both men were impressive and expressive, it’s all about Rudd’s moves â particularly his impressive multi-camera work and spry jumpkicks â that really take home the cake for team SuperAnt. There’s a superhero just waiting to burst out of that man: can’t you feel it?
Rudd’s clearly no shrinking violet â unlike his soon-to-be on-screen counterpart (unless he’s Scott Lang, of course!) â but that’s what movie magic is for, my friends.
What do you think of Rudd’s sweet moves? Let us know in the comments.
