Yesterday’s schedule pushed this one off the radar here a bit, but in case you’ve been hungry for more footage from X-Men: First Class, there’s a new international trailer that has just a little more, added to stuff you’ve seen before:

Chills! I just love this stuff, always have, this looks really cool! I was really pleased with Wolverine, it was great to see the background and everything (plus the interesting spin on other things). Ultimately, you can’t please everyone on the comic book movies (except me that is!)
As a mother to a 4 year old son obsessed with all things super hero, but specifically X Men, I can’t wait. But I do hope it is better than the Wolverine one. That was just plain painful.
There’s another version of a trailer basically just like this, except that instead of someone stomping and the floor turning to lava, there’s this very weird scene where Kevin Bacon sort of explodes in a fireball and/or also grows four arms or something? It’s a very weird though intriguing shot. I guess maybe the idea is just that he doesn’t have a very visually dynamic power so they’ve had to change it?
Banshee and Emma Frost both look incredible. Not sure if this will go the way of the first couple of Xmen films or the horror of the Wolverine movie
