    @ TheDoctor
It’s not supposed to include every episode- it’s supposed to include every “adventure”, as the original series was filmed in serial format, with multi-part episodes encompassing one theme. This was changed in the revived series with a more episodic format, which is why rose is considered to have the most adventures when she wasn’t a companion for the longest. As such, multi-part episodes from Eccleston onward are considered as one adventure (ex: river is shown to have been in one adventure in combined episodes silence in the library and forest of the dead). For a general overview there are 784 individual episodes, including the one movie, encompassing 224 stories (the chart did not update to the 2011 christmas special the doctor the witch and the wardrobe). Also theres four charity specials, two interactive episodes, and two animated adventures. Then there are books and comic books and spin offs and videogames.

@Jason- The silence are important, but about as important as the weeping angels or the slavine. On the other hand, the master, cybermen, and daleks have been on doctor who for ages- the major recurring villains. A general guideline is that an enemy on doctor who is about as important as the amount of versions of its prop, costume, or actor. If they replace it with something younger and shinier, then its a major villain.

Great but it doesn’t include every episode.

  4. Jason says:

I like this! Very well done! although wouldn’t the silence count as a major villain for Matt Smith?
