ANIMALS MAN Proves Not All Superheroes Can Be Winners

With all the awesome superhero news happening recently – Daredevil on Netflix, Archangel’s going to be in X-Men, and Jamie Bell’s Thing looks so damn good! Wait a minute, that last part came out wrong. I mean THIS, you guys! Come on, grow up.

It’s a new dawn for superheros and what the world needs now is: Animals Man!

After being bitten by far too many radioactive animals, a once mild-mannered nighttime zoo employee is granted all of their powers. One would think having the capabilities of the entire animal kingdom would be a good thing, but what power to choose and when? Such is the life of this new sub-par superhero… sub-par-super-hero? Ha! He’s a subparhero!

The Bilderbergers, a New York based sketch comedy group, bring us the misadventures of Animals Man which is quite reminiscent of the “Scientifically Accurate” series of videos by Fox’s Animation Domination High-Def programming yet considerably safer for work.

With all the powers at his disposal, you would think Animals Man would be able to carve out a decent life for himself. Yet even when it appears he’s got his life together, more heartbreak is just around the corner, be it failure at super heroics, children’s entertainment, or even married life. He does however appear to be one hell of a dad, fathering hundreds of future superheroes while in the form of a seahorse.

With the success Daredevil is having, we can only hope this opens the door for even more superhero series and our vote is for Animals Man. He deserves a break, ya know? He’s a single dad now.

What animal super power would you love to have? What would be the worst? Let us know in the comments!
