What’s on the Nerdist Podcast Network this week? Okay, so, I do this every week, and I try to mention each time that sometimes, things change and shows we think we’re going to release don’t happen the way we thought. So, yeah, we had a little change last week. And while we may have some changes this week — always a possibility — it’s more likely that we’ll serve these up as scheduled, so, with that in mind:
Oscar-nominated actress Angela Bassett will be on the Nerdist Podcast with her inspiring story that took her from a tough beginning through Yale to success in acting. She’s in the new London Has Fallen (once again, as in Olympus Has Fallen, as the truly unlucky Secret Service Director) and, of course, American Horror Story, and she does take some time to address those Star Trek rumors, so you’re going to want to catch this one. Listen for it on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, after having an extended discussion of musical taste on his last episode with Ross Marquand, Pete Holmes will welcome Ben Folds to You Made It Weird. That’ll be on Wednesday.
Podcaster will meet podcaster on The Jonah Keri Podcast when Jesse Thorn of Maximum Fun network and Bullseye/The Sound Of Young America and Jordan, Jesse, Go! fame drops by for talk about this thing we do, plus sartorial advice that just might change your life. But you’ll have to wait until Friday for that.
And The Writers Panel will have two more episodes this week, one a panel on The Last Man On Earth and the other featuring the prolific Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, and it’s safe to say that if you’re into The Vampire Diaries and/or The Originals, your questions will be answered.
While we’re at it. why not try some of our new shows? There’ll be new episodes of The Jackie and Laurie Show with Jackie Kashian and Laurie Kilmartin, Half Hour Happy Hour with Alison Haislip and Alex Albrecht, Kicking and Screaming with Jenna and Bodhi Elfman, and Love, Alexi, too.
It will all be at the Nerdist Podcast Network homepage and Facebook page, and we’d love you to subscribe to all the shows and support our wonderful advertisers and you know the drill, so let’s do it.
