Andrew Garfield Talks Kissing Ryan Reynolds Before Smooching Stephen Colbert

Besides La La Land winning all the awards, only two things happened at this year’s Golden Globes that anyone will remember, both sliiiiiightly different in nature. The first was Meryl Streep’s lifetime achievement award speech—which the whole country was talking about the next day—the other was when Andrew Garfield and Ryan Reynolds smooched during Ryan Gosling’s walk up to the stage. But Garfield didn’t just go on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night to kiss and tell, he gave the host a (literal) taste of what the moment was like.

If you missed it during the Golden Globes, you can see here how Garfield and Reynolds shared a kiss after the Deadpool star lost out on the Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy award to Gosling. Why did they do it though? “I just wanted Ryan to know that I loved him whether he won or lost,” said Garfield, who is both obviously a nice, caring person, and  comfortable kissing another man.

As is, it turns out is Stephen Colbert. Which is why the two then shared their own intimate lip lock. And then shared another one.

Apparently kissing Stephen Colbert is as hilarious as you would imagine.

Though we suggest that any actors with jealous significant others should stay away from Andrew Garfield these days. The man is clearly irresistible. Maybe it’s that charming English accent you always forget he has.

What Hollywood star would you most like to get a kiss from after losing a big award? Pucker up with our comments section below to tell us who you’d most like to smooch in your time of need.
