And Now, a Bacon Burger Stuffed with Peanut Butter Cups

Halloween is when sweet-toothed candy fans have their day in the sun—if the sun were made of yellow Starburst. But what about those candy fans that also like something a lil savory, too? Enter: Canadian burger restaurant Works Gourmet Burger Bistro, who have come up with a unique way to combine burgers and candy by creating a bacon burger stuffed with a peanut butter cup. Yes folks, this is an actual meal you can purchase and eat.

The classic chocolate Reese peanut butter cup is stuffed inside a juicy beef patty and topped with crispy onion strings, smoked bacon and then the kicker, even more peanut butter cups. Given the information that’s just come out about meat consumption, I’m not sure it’s the best time to market such a monstrosity but hey, Halloween! Candy!

We’ve seen burgers on donuts, garlic flavored burgers, and even made our own Big Mac/Whopper hybrid. So burgers seem to be the universal blank canvas that people love to experiment with and make their own. Bacon and chocolate are paired together time and time again, so why not in a burger? Right? Hey, where are you going…?!

Works not only gets creative with their burgers, they also serve shakes in Pyrex measuring cups and sure do seem to love the puns—cleverly naming their dishes things like Patty Like A Rock Star and Tot Mess. Tot Mess by the way, is tater tots smothered in a beer, bacon and cheese sauce topped with caramelized onions and bacon bits. Don’t forget the gravy dipping sauce that goes along with it. Oh, Canada.

Would you eat a burger filled with peanut butter cups? Let us know in the comments how daring you truly are!
