An Unexpected Pair of Posters from Olly Moss

Yon can spruce up the walls of your hobbit-hole with a pair of The Lord of the Rings posters from artist extraordinaire Olly Moss. We would have expected a Hobbit-themed poster, given that we’ll be returning to the Shire tomorrow night at midnight for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, but when your artwork looks this good, you can’t really look an art horse in the mouth. The posters go on sale tomorrow through Mondo, the collectible art wing of America’s favorite cinematheque, Alamo Drafthouse. The regular edition (of 580) retails for $50 and the variant edition (of 285) retails for $90, which is approximately what it would cost for two people to see The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in 3D and IMAX 3D respectively.
