The upcoming Super Smash Bros. title for the Wii U and 3DS just got some more Animal Crossing love. The cult fighting game series’ director, Masahiro Sakurai, announced today that players will be able to select among these several different Animal Crossing villagers:

Oh yeah! Aren’t they just adorable? No word on whether or not the new villagers will have their own set of moves, though I think it’s safe to assume that these are simply alternate versions of the current villager character available in the game. Either way, you’ll still be able to use your “cuteness advantage” to obliterate any and all opposition.
