Join ALPHA COMIC BOOK CLUB to Chat About Your Favorite Comics

You no doubt have been spending your Wednesday evenings tuning into Alpha Book Club, the place to go when you read a book and want to talk about it. Its three hosts lead the conversation and you have the opportunity to join in via the magic of the internet. But, have you ever wanted them to talk about comic books and graphic novels in addition to literary classics? Well, not only is that happening, it’s going to be its own show! That’s right, we’re proud to announce the birth of your source for deep-dive discussions of the best in comics: Alpha Comic Book Club (AC/BC)!

Each Monday at 6:15pm PST on Project Alpha, join hosts Ashley Esqueda, Hector Navarro, and Damion Poitier as they take on one of the great comic book arcs of all time. Want to hear opinions about Marvel’s Infinity Gauntlet? You can get that! Need to get to the bottom of why people love Saga so much? Can do! Can’t decide which Batman storyline is the greatest of all time? These hosts will get on it, and ask you to join in the discussion. (But, come on, it’s clearly “The Long Halloween.”)

These can be new and fresh stories, a classic, or maybe even something forgotten to time that a fan has dug up and wants to reintroduce us to. Because at the heart, AC/BC is about interacting with and building the Alpha community. They’re just as much a part of the club as the hosts — and like ABC, the Alpha Community will help choose which comic the club is reading for the next week.

So kick back with a comic book, crack a beer, and get ready to dive deep into the world of comics. It’s going to be fun.
