ALL THAT Reunion Is Happening on Nickelodeon This April

News of Nickelodeon systematically revitalizing and rebooting its ’90s kid content (a.k.a. its best content) for mass consumption again has been gushing forth over the past few months like so much green goop out of a contestant-drenching slime dumper. Reruns of shows like Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, and Ren and Stimpy have already begun airing on The Splat (a programming block on TeenNick), and Legends of the Hidden Temple is even coming back as a TV movie—with Kirk Fogg. Now, we can add to that wave of nostalgia-inducing Nickelodeon news a reunion of the king of kids sketch shows, All That.

Welcome back everyone, to the home of the Good Burger.

E! Online has reported that much of the original All That cast, including Danny Tamberelli, Kel Mitchell, Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg, and Kenan Thompson, will be reuniting on the Splat to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the show’s premiere. The reunion will consist of an All That marathon taking place on April 16 and 17, which will be broken up by “1-3 minute… reunion interstitials.” It’s unclear if any of these interstitials will contain new sketches, although they’re likely to have a lot of behind-the-scenes insights from the former cast members.

For those of you who don’t remember setting aside everything else in your life—including your Gameboy and pet frogs (just me?)—in order to glue your eyes to the television for All That, it was a (pre-recorded) SNL-esque sketch show that delivered such classics as Good Burger, the Loud Librarian, Baggin’ Saggin’ Barry, Ask Ashley, and Walter the Earboy (that featured a freaking faux Ross Perot played by a teenage girl!).

Although there have been pieces of All That brought back from the ether recently—including a Good Burger bit that Kenan and Kel did on Jimmy Fallon last year—this is the first time a mostly assembled cast will be appearing back on television. But with the way Nickelodeon is going, this may only be the kids content canary in the reboot-filled coal mine.

How psyched are you about this All That reunion? Do you just want Nickelodeon to reboot the series already? And will Ross Perot ever finish what he’s saying? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
