Fellow Star Wars fans, the final trailer for The Force Awakens that we got this week is amazing–genuinely amazing. The only downside is that it is the final one, meaning itâs the last footage we have for two months, when we will finally be able to cram every seat at every screening in every theater. Fortunately, the internet is here to keep us going with awesome new versions to help us stay satiated until the premiere.
After getting a gorgeous music-only version of this incredible trailer, we now have a mega-version, made by YouTube user Science Vs. Cinema, incorporating every trailer (technically this is the only official trailer, the other ones are considered teasers) of the film we have. It’s pretty fantastic on its own, but it’s also nice that it will be easier to analyze every clip repeatedly like a lunatic devoted-fan should. Not to mention I just feel better hearing Luke‘s voice.
I wonder if any trailer has ever provoked such a strong reaction in such a short time. Something tells me we are going to see a lot more great variations to geek out to in the next two months.
The Force Awakens opens December 18th, which is roughly 9,000 years away in anticipated nerd time, so denizens of the internet, please keep churning out these awesome videos to help keep us going.
