If you want to hear a full version of the iconic Star Wars theme song, you could spend big bucks and get dressed up for a night out at the symphony, or you can just stay home at your computer in your pajamas, and marvel at the talents of one Star Wars fan with a guitar.

Guitarist Cooper Carter recorded 45 tracks involving 31 orchestra parts required for the complete song, using nine guitars and one Fractal Audio AX8 (and a whole bunch of Star Wars t-shirts) to put together one very impressive, virtuoso “tribute to John Williams and the greatest saga of all time.”

He played parts meant for French horns, oboes, violins, and flutes to name just a few. I imagine this is what Steve Vai listens to as he journeys through the galaxy.
