Alfred Hitchcock Can Now Cameo in Your Toy Collection

Good evening. The collectible you are about to see is responsible for some of the most ghastly acts ever depicted onscreen. In fact, it is rumored that we will have nurses on standby just in case some of you should faint upon the viewing of it. We ask only that you not reveal the shocking ending, which could have a dire effect on the faint of heart…namely, the part where you order it and it shows up on your doorstep months later.

Behind the camera, Alfred Hitchcock has toyed with your emotions long enough. Now Mondo is going to toy with him, and allow you to place this master manipulator anywhere you dare in your home. Available online at MondoTees.com starting tomorrow at noon (central time) for preorder, this 1/6 scale figure includes the director’s signature suit, cigars, a director’s chair with his name on it (so you never have to answer the question, “Who is that?” from less-enlightened house guests), clapboard, raven, and Psycho knife. And if you order during the first 48 hours, while supplies last, you might be able to snag an exclusive version for five more bucks, which comes with an additional seagull accessory. The regular edition costs $185, but Mondo has instituted a new payment plan option on any item of $100 or more.

In addition to the Hitchcock figure, four new themed posters will be made available at random times during the day: Adam Simpson’s Vertigo and variant Vertigo, We Buy Your Kids’ Vertigo, and Thomas Danthony’s The Birds. You can see them all below in our gallery.

Is the Hitchcock toy a gift you’d like to shower on somebody? Will they flip for the extra bird? Would you be obliged to make a pun using the word “presents”? The suspense is killing us, so comment below and tell the world.
