Add These Celestial Space Orbs to Your Holiday Lists Immediately

Once you get a look at the incredible space glass creations of Satoshi Tomizu you’re going to be asking yourself why you don’t already have one and how long are you going to have to wait to hang one of these delights around your neck. Remember Orion in Men In Black? Take a second. I’ll let you remember.

Orion probably wasn’t the first being to wear a galaxy around his neck, but his bauble is the only hanging galaxy that I’ve seen that compare to Tomizu’s designs. The designer of accessories was born in 1980 in Kanagawa Prefecture and started designing with heat-resistant glass only a few years ago at 28. Most of Tomizu’s website is exclusively in Japanese and the actual how-to of what makes up his galaxy designs is elusive but I can tell you that the designs below sometimes contain opals giving the pendants the look of a contained galaxy with a planet of its own. But I have to say, even the ones without opals are absolutely gorgeous.

I can’t talk about these beauties without making allusions to wandering and exploring so I’m just going to send you down now to check out the gallery of possibilities below. Unfortunately, you can’t grab one for yourself quite yet—these designs proved so popular that Tomizu’s store was overwhelmed and he’s not currently taking orders. But you can get on a wait list, so also check out his website and get in line to get a galaxy of your very own.

What do you think of the baubles? Let us know in the comments below.
