Hailee Steinfeld is officially a Barden Bella. Variety has announced that the True Grit Oscar nominee has been cast in the sequel to the musical comedy Pitch Perfect, and she couldn’t be any more thrilled.

The enthusiastic young gun will join fellow Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick, who’s reprising her role from the 2012 original, along with Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow. Thanks to Rebel Wilson’s tweet, we can see which of the other Bellas are returning, most notably Hana Mae Lee, Ester Dean, Kelley Jakle, and Alexis Knapp. We’re still waiting for confirmation on Anna Camp and Kendrick’s Pitch Perfect love interest, Skylar Astin.

While Pitch Perfect 2 isn’t scheduled to hit the big screens until May 15, 2015, we can still speculate what role Steinfeld will play. More important: Will she sing?
