World’s largest Rube Goldberg device, at least according to the World Records Academy, brought to you by the Purdue Society of Professional Engineers, breaking their own world record. You may not think it’s THAT big, especially after that OK Go video (which may not have qualified as a single machine), but this is what the record-determination people say is the biggest, so we’ll go with them. The purpose of the machine: to blow up a balloon. Which it does. And then it pops. Yes, “Zombie Nation” is heard at one point.
